Public Participation at Meetings

Should you want to be so kind as to let the Clerk know you are attending and why, it may assist dealing with your issue.

If the Council has not had notice of any question, it may be that the answer may have to be investigated or the matter placed on a future agenda.

Monthly Council meetings are held in the Meeting Room at the Hayes Green Community Centre and there is capacity for members of the public to attend but this is limited. If notice is given that a large group of residents want to attend to discuss an issue, the Council would willingly consider hosting a public meeting.

The Council has to consider insurance and risk issues and it is not possible to cater for large attendances at meetings without notice.

Council meetings are public meetings and this should be borne in mind to anything said or done.
